COUNCIL TO HOLD SUMMER BOOT FAIRS

After the success of last summer's event, the council has agreed to schedule boot fair events for the last Sunday in May, June, July and August.

Following results of the annual parish survey, highlighting a demand for more community activities, the council is keen to support an increase in local community events and agreed that boot fairs provide social, economic and environmental benefit to local residents.

The dates for the events are: 29 May; 26 June; 31 July; and 28 August.

With the same great introductory prices, this is another great opportunity to have a final summer clear out and raise some money. Local residents are urged to come along and make the day another success in a bid for it to become a permanent fixture on the events calendar.

Sellers can arrive between 8am-10am - Cars & small vans only £5 and Large vans only £8. No need to book - Just turn up!

Public from 9am-2pm. Car parking only £1 per car.

Toilets & Refreshments. No un-authorised selling of food or drinks - No selling of counterfeit goods.
